Fresh Faces is a rapid-fire questionnaire series dedicated to showcasing some of our favourite faces in the industry. Up next is our Account Director, Natasha McEwen.

Starting with some industry basics…

How did you get into the media industry? 

My career started in the theatres of Toronto. I worked as Marketing Manager at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts, Canada’s largest soft seat theatre, for a number of years. My role there included many aspects of marketing, and media was always a favourite. When I moved back to my hometown of Vancouver, I continued a short stint in arts marketing until my fabulous Lamar Transit rep said… “have you heard of Think Mint Media (then Taylor Made) – they’re great and looking for a buyer.” The rest is history.

Favourite social media platform and why?

Instagram. Pretty, visual, fun.

Favourite industry event?

ABCOM Christmas party – it starts the holiday season with a BANG!

Now let’s get personal…

What do you do for fun on the weekend?

I have a “5 B’s” Saturday morning routine with my husband:

  1. Bed (sleep in a bit)
  2. Bucks (visit Starbucks)
  3. Bagels (get a lox and cream cheese bagel from the incomparable Siegel’s Bagels)
  4. Beach (visit the Kits dog beach with the 5th B)
  5. Bertie (my dog!)

Soon a 6th B will be added into the mix – BABY!

Who are your 3 dream dinner party guests?

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (aka Destiny’s Child).

Favourite travel spot?

Andalusia (Southern Spain).
